The questions we hear most
Does the restaurant POS work without internet?
Yes. When the connection drops, the receipt prints marked OFFLINE, waits in a queue and is sent to ATK by itself as soon as the internet returns — with no action from you.
Can waiters take orders from a phone?
Yes. The Kendrix POS mobile app for iPhone and iPad comes free with the sales package: the waiter takes the order at the table and closes it with a QR fiscal receipt, without walking back to the till.
Does it send orders to the kitchen and the bar?
Yes. A table’s order is split by itself: food goes to the kitchen printer, drinks to the bar printer, while the bill stays one and can be split when guests pay separately.
Do I need a separate fiscal cash register?
No. Kendrix POS is Electronic Fiscal Software (SEF) certified by ATK (SEF no. 812113983327): fiscalization happens inside the program and the receipt prints on an ordinary receipt printer, with no extra fiscal device.
How long does installation take?
Usually within the day. The installer configures itself, the licence is activated by phone within minutes and the setup wizard walks you through items, staff and printers. Installation is on site, anywhere in Kosovo.
